Society Awards and Grants
*Call for Nominations*
The AAIC calls on its members to submit nominations each year for any or all of the five different awards to be presented at the Annual Meeting. Awards are not necessarily given each year. The awards are as follows:

This award is given to a person who throughout his or her career has made significant contributions to the development and/or utilization of industrial crops and/or products.
2. Outstanding Researcher Award

5. AAIC Best Paper/Poster Presentation Awards
Each division will have the option of presenting a “Best Annual Meeting Paper Award” (certificate) for oral and poster presentations. The awards chairs and committee will determine the winners. There must be a minimum of three oral papers or posters presented in the division session for an award to be made.
6. AAIC Student Travel Grants
AAIC will award $500 travel grants to students conducting research with industrial crops to assist on expenses when attending the AAIC annual meeting. Up to two awards will be given to each of the standing divisions in AAIC. Applications should include; a brief application letter stating the student's current research and career goals, an abstract of the research being presented, and a letter of support from their major professor.
