Constructing a Sustainable Future - The Role of Industrial Crops and Products
The AAIC executive board is glad to announce that the 35th Annual Association for Advancement of Industrial Crops (AAIC) conference will be held from September 1-5, 2024, in Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting will be held in-person.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
A concise and factual 1-page abstract is required, please follow this template for formatting. Abstract should be written in Times New Roman Font, size 12. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. References should be avoided. Also, non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself. The contact details of the presenting author should be reported at the bottom of the page. All abstracts should be submitted in Word document file via email to Dr. Ana Luisa Fernando ([email protected]). Indicate in the email if it is for oral presentation or poster and to which AAIC Division. All abstracts must be submitted by May 3, 2024.
Poster Submission Guidelines
Posters should be less than 48" wide x 48" tall. Please refer to the poster format guide for details.

Travel and Accommodations
The conference venue is at the Olissippo Oriente Hotel, Av. Dom João II 32, 1990-092 Lisboa, Portugal. The hotel is about 2.3mi (3.7km) from Lisbon airport (LIS). There are several options to get from the airport (LIS) to Olissippo Oriente Hotel, either by subway, taxi, towncar, shuttle or foot.
